35mm colour film
Introduced at the start of last year, after many requests, I’ve embraced the art of shooting with colour 35mm film. I have loved shooting at a slower, more intentional pace with these older cameras—and now it’s officially part of what I offer.
Captured on my Canon AE-1, your wedding moments will be preserved on 35mm colour film, with beautifully edited digital scans delivered straight to your online gallery.
If you’d like me to bring my film camera to your wedding, you can easily add this option to your package—just send me a message!
Engagement Shoots
Engagement shoots are hand on heart on of my FAVOURITE things to photograph. Why? Because I know you’re not Vouge models and that’s okay!
Part of the fun is getting to know you, making you feel comfortable, and just letting you be you. My speciality is transforming those Chandler Bing smiles into real ones.
Over an hour-long session at a location that is special to you, we’ll create some relaxed portraits easing you into the feeling of being in front of the camera whilst I discover your connection & what makes you tick
Please feel free to bring well-behaved dogs.

Second Shooter
A second shooter adds another perspective to your wedding day and it’s always lovely to see both sides of the wedding prep in the morning.
Not to mention the fact that you will naturally receive more photographs when two photographers are shooting all day.
I have a number of trusted photographer associates around the North East who I often work alongside. At the end of the wedding day we sync memory cards and I edit all of their images too!

Travel
My bags are already packed!
In the past, I’ve travelled to incredible destinations like Canada, Portugal & Ireland and more recently, Crete and Italy, to capture beautiful weddings. This year, I added a breathtaking wedding in the South of France to that list.
For UK weddings that are further than an 90km drive from my base in Alnwick, Northumberland overnight accommodation may be required so that I can arrive in good time and/or get home safely.

What is Your Shooting style?
I would describe my style as warm and emotive with a touch of luxury.
Long lists of formal group portraits & staged shots arent really for me – of course I will capture the main family & bridal party group shots but I believe the images you will look back on with the most fondness are candid ‘in between’ moments of your guests enjoying the wedding.
When it is just the two of you in front of the camera I will give you some loose poses to guide you to start with and then we will go from there. I usually take my couples out twice during the day for 15 minute periods. I keep it short and sweet, I promise it will be fun!
What is the booking process?
Once you have sent me an enquiry through my website contact form, I will check my availability and get back to you within 48 hours.
I will then send you a bespoke wedding day quote and contract. I ask for a 20% booking fee in order to secure the date in my diary. Once this has all been received I will lock in your date and turn away any other enquiries.
Please note wedding day quotes are only valid for 2 weeks from the date sent.
Are you Insured?
Yes, I have Business, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. I’d also highly recommend that you take out wedding insurance as well.
How do we recieve our images?
This year I am updating my packaging and investing in something a little more luxurious & eco-friendly.
I will be posting out a luxury linen-bound A4 folio with 2 fine art prints and a personalised link to your final online gallery. These prints are a stunning keepsake that will look so lovely framed & will hopefully take pride of place on your wall.
Your password protected online gallery is really simple to share with your family and friends anywhere in the world. You can curate all your favourite shots so they’re easy to find, order prints and albums and you can also select which images you may want to keep private.
How do we recieve our images?
Within 24 hours of the wedding I will send you a couple of shots to share on your social media, so you don’t have to use that blurry iPhone shot your bridesmaid took!
Within a week of the wedding date I will deliver a sneak peek gallery with roughly 60 edited photographs to show your family and friends. Maybe invite the bridal party round for an evening of fizz and left over cake and really make an evening of it?
I will then deliver your final gallery within 6-8 weeks of your wedding date. This may vary at peak times within the summer wedding season and could be up to 10 weeks. I’d rather spend more time editing your images perfectly than rushing through them just to meet a deadline and so I will always keep you updated as I go.
