I ventured out with Rachel & Richard one September morning a few weeks ago to a little lake just beyond the iconic Sycamore Gap along Hadrian’s Wall.

The pair chose to have their engagement shoot at the very place where one year ago Richard popped the question to Rachel and she said a huge yes. You could tell this place held a lot of sentimental value to Richard and Rachel and I felt very lucky to be able to capture what this special place means to them. I am now really looking forward to capturing their wedding next year at Horton Grange, especially as Rachel mentioned that her pony may make a special guest appearance!
