Short and sweet – this little elopement session at Boulmer Beach was an absolute dream!

Lizzie & Josh reached out to me shortly before their wedding after finding me on Instagram. They had planned their ‘big day’ wedding at Woodhill Hall. However (in order to make it legal) they had their official ceremony at Alnwick registry office the day before and wanted some images to commemorate this intimate and special moment, just the two of them, after all they were now legally married!

I loved this idea, as they get to have the best of both worlds. An intimate beach elopement for the ‘legal bit’ and then a big celebratory wedding the next day with all their family and friends.

The sun shone down on them and this Northumbrian beach could easily have passed for a destination elopement – we were getting serious destination vibes.

A special mention to the lady in passing who I roped in at the end to create a spontaneous one women confetti line.
