Salt & Co Branding Shoot

Apr 6, 2021 | Branding

Martha’s enquiry for an editorial shoot for her local jewellery company couldn’t have come at a better time, it was late November and we were in the 2nd? 3rd? whatever number of lockdown meant that it had mean a while since I had picked up my camera.

I was even more excited when I found out that it would be Meg modelling on the shoot, a brilliant model who I’ve collaborated with before. We were up for sunrise at Warkworth beach only to be a little disheartened to find a Northumberland sea fret rolling in. But what a blessing disguise! We had the whole beach to ourselves and this etherial mist created a clean cinematic feel for the photographs that suited Martha’s brand aesthetic brilliantly.

We all needed this shoot, for the laughs, for the company, for the love of being small businesses and for finally being able enjoy a small safe outlet of creativity in world locked down.
